Terms for Oxotl
Last updated: May 3, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Oxotl and the Oxotl website. Oxotl is provided by Hunter Delattre.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Oxotl, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Oxotl.
License and use
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Oxotl for your own personal or business work. You may not resell, redistribute, or misuse the app.
Ownership
Oxotl, including its software, design, branding, and website content, is owned by Hunter Delattre. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Developer tool; your responsibility
Oxotl is a developer tool. You are responsible for reviewing prompts, commands, code changes, diffs, merges, rebases, summaries, generated worktrees, and other work before relying on them.
Keep backups, use version control, protect your credentials, and validate results before deploying, merging, publishing, or sharing work produced with or through Oxotl.
Acceptable use
You may not use Oxotl in violation of law or third-party rights, to develop or deploy harmful or malicious activity, or in a way that could damage systems, repositories, data, credentials, or third-party environments without authorization.
You may not interfere with, disable, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical restrictions in Oxotl except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Codex and third-party services
Oxotl works alongside Codex and other tools you choose to use. Those services are not controlled by us and may have their own terms, privacy policies, pricing, availability, security practices, and data handling.
You are responsible for your use of third-party services, including Codex, OpenAI services, Apple system services, Terminal, Git providers, package registries, app marketplaces, payment providers, Lemon Squeezy, GitHub Releases, and local or hosted model providers.
Purchases, downloads, and updates
Download Oxotl only from links published on the Oxotl website or from purchase emails sent after checkout.
Payments, refunds, chargebacks, license activation, and purchase records may be handled by Lemon Squeezy, an app marketplace, or another payment or distribution provider. Those providers may apply their own terms, refund policies, taxes, fees, and account rules.
Oxotl may offer updates, but we do not guarantee any particular update schedule, compatibility, support window, or feature availability.
Except where required by law or by the applicable distributor, fees are non-refundable.
No professional advice
Oxotl may produce technical, operational, or workflow suggestions, but nothing provided through Oxotl constitutes legal, compliance, security, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or other professional advice.
No warranty
Oxotl is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, security, and freedom from harmful components.
We do not warrant that Oxotl or any output will be correct, complete, useful, reliable, safe to execute, compatible with your environment, or suitable for production use.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, code, repositories, revenue, profits, goodwill, device access, credentials, security, or business interruption.
We are not liable for damage arising from outputs, commands, automations, file modifications, diffs, summaries, permission grants, license validation, third-party service use, or your use of Oxotl with local or hosted developer tools.
Our total liability for claims related to Oxotl is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations, so parts of these terms may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted, unless a later date is stated.
If you continue using Oxotl after updated terms become effective, you agree to the revised terms.
